Description

Channel Islands took the much-loved Happy Everyday and asked "how do we ride this even more?" The answer is the Better Everyday: a relaxed hip and a swallow tail that make it smoother off the bottom and open it right up in slightly bigger waves, while keeping that loose, fun step-down feel.

Key Features

  • Relaxed trademark hip for a smoother, more positive bottom turn
  • Swallow tail adds bite and hold without losing the loose feel
  • Increased tail flip loosens it up out of the lip for snappy top turns
  • Extends the everyday range into slightly larger, better waves
  • Ships with five fin boxes — set it up as a quad with CI's matched fin set
  • Choice of PU/PE or Spine-Tek (Channel Islands' own epoxy tech) construction

Details

  • Vendor / shaper: Channel Islands (Britt Merrick)
  • Construction: PU/PE or Spine-Tek — Channel Islands' own tech (choose at checkout) (confirmed)
  • Fin system / setup: 5 fin boxes, FCS II or Futures. Designed as a quad; Britt built a dedicated quad set (upright fronts, raked rears) to match it
  • Tail shape: Swallow tail (confirmed)
  • Sizes / colours: 5'7–6'2, White (deck art per photos)

Who It's For

  • Intermediate-to-advanced surfers wanting a high-performance step-down for everyday beach breaks
  • Surfers who liked the Happy Everyday but want more range in slightly bigger surf
  • Quad-lovers chasing speed, hold and zing off the top
  • Not a beginner board — best suits an established, driving surfer
