Shaped by Dan Mann with input from 3x World Longboard Champion Taylor Jensen, the Special T brings classic longboarding into the modern era—paying homage to the glide, grace, and craftsmanship of traditional logs.

Inspired by the soul of surfing and a vintage Phil Edwards board Dan’s father owned, the Special T blends timeless design elements with refined shaping for today’s style-conscious longboarders.

Helium Core Technology

An EPS core with variable flex I-beam stringer, and rails made from Paulownia and Balsa wood to control flex - this construction is light and lively underfoot, and excellent at generating speed in everyday waves. New for 2024, a wooden nosecap creates maximum compatibility for noseriding in all conditions.

Wave Type

This is Taylor Jensen and Dan Mann’s longboard shape for California beach breaks and softer waves. Board Features

The Special T is a traditionally outlined rounded pintail longboard shape. The flat rocker makes it super easy to catch waves and super stable. The rounded pintail helps with hold in the pocket and the wide nose offers tons of stability up at the tip. This is the shape 3x World Longboard Champion Taylor Jensen was riding when he won the 2022 Duct Tape Invitational.
