Sizing

One size — universal fit, ages 5+. It isn't worn like a band: the POD straps to your leg-rope (leash) cuff using the included FCS Surf Pouch, or rides in a boardshort or wetsuit key pocket. At 56.5g it adds barely any weight to your setup.

How it works (measured language): the POD uses patented Sharkbanz magnetic technology to overwhelm a shark's or ray's electroreceptors, creating an unpleasant sensation that turns them away — always on, no battery, waterproof. In the manufacturer's own words, it can "reduce the risk of shark and ray interactions, but there is no 100% guarantee" that an interaction won't take place, and the user assumes all risk. It's most effective against the common investigatory "hit-and-run" type of encounter; it is not a guarantee of safety and does not make you shark-proof.
