Description
Description
One board, endless possibilities. Dan Mann and 3x World Longboard Champion Taylor Jensen built
The Gem to bridge trim-focused and easy-riding logs — trim on the nose, carve on rail, and it still fits
in the boot.
Key Features
- One-board quiver longboard — cruise, trim, turn and travel on a single stick
- Shortboard-inspired bottom contours under a classic longboard outline for lift, speed and clean glide
- Diamond tail shortens the rail line for extra pivot and responsive turning, with plenty of drive
- Convertible fin setup: single fin for traditional trim and nose rides, Two-Plus-One when it gets bigger
- Works across the range — small peelers to solid, punchier surf
- Two constructions in store: lively Helium (fibreglass) or the more sustainable Timbertek (Paulownia wood)
Details
- Construction: Helium Core (EPS core, variable-flex I-beam stringer, Paulownia/Balsa rails) — offered
with Fibreglass or Timbertek lamination; light and lively epoxy build
- Fin setup: Single fin (small-wave trim/noseriding) or Two-Plus-One (bigger waves); Futures boxes
- Tail/outline: diamond tail, classic longboard outline with a hard edge for higher-level performance
- Designed by: Dan Mann with Taylor Jensen (Firewire)
Who It's For
- Intermediate-to-advanced loggers who want one board that genuinely does it all
- Surfers chasing both traditional nose time and rail-carving performance
- Travellers who want a proper longboard that still packs down for the trip
- Beginners stepping up (larger sizes) who want a board they won't grow out of
