The Interceptor is Darren’s high-performance take on a mid-length, designed for surfers who want easy paddling, smooth lines, and the ability to turn tighter than a traditional mid. It’s built for maximising wave count, navigating busy lineups, and making average conditions genuinely fun — while still having enough performance to handle quality surf within its range.

Concave — Entry vee to slight concave into double vee out the tail

HOW IT SURFS
The Interceptor paddles effortlessly and gets you into waves early, then carries speed through flat or sectiony parts of the wave. It feels fast down the line, smooth through turns, and surprisingly nimble for its length. Whether the surf is small and weak or clean and pushing, it keeps momentum where shorter boards would stall. Fin choice lets you fine-tune the feel — quad for extra speed and drive, or 2+1 for a looser, more flowing approach.
