Softlite Shred Head Softboard

Built for groms who are just working out what a wave actually does. The Softlite Shred Head is a soft, safe, forgiving little fun board that makes those first white-water rides come easy — and keeps coming back for more.

Key Features

• Traditional softboard construction — lightweight EPS core wrapped in a PE deckskin and HD slick. Soft where it needs to be, tough where it counts.
• Fun board template — a touch less surface area than a traditional mini mal, so it turns easier. Narrower through the shoulders too, which makes a big difference for smaller arms paddling.
• Graphic slick — a custom collab with Walking Designs on the bottom. Worth a proper look, there's a bit going on down there.
• Screw-through deck fin boxes — fins pop in and out for travel, and you can swap setups as the grom progresses.

Who It's For

Groms and first-timers. This is a learn-to-surf board, plain and simple — stable enough to stand up on, small enough that a kid can actually carry it down the beach themselves.

Sizing

• 5'6 — 20 1/2" x 3", 38L. Best for groms up to around 35kg.
• 6'6 — 21 1/4" x 3", 52L. Suits beginner riders up to around 65kg.
