Softlite Slider Softboard

The all-rounder. The Slider sits in that sweet spot between a learner mal and a proper mid-length — enough volume to catch everything, but loose enough that you can actually put it on a rail and go somewhere.

Key Features

• 100% waterproof moulded EPS core — Softlite's own moulding process gives a harder outer shell and a board that holds its shape season after season.
• Triple moulded stringer system — two Paulownia hardwood stringers plus a fibreglass stringer. Stiffer, stronger, and it surfs noticeably better for it.
• Screw-through deck fin boxes — compatible with multiple fin systems. Pull them out for travel, swap them to change how it goes.
• EPO bonding layer — cuts down delamination and deck compressions.
• Nose and tail bumpers — the bits that cop the most punishment get the most protection.

Details

The Slider runs a fun board template rather than a traditional mini mal, so there's a little less surface area to push around. It carries good thickness through the middle for paddle power, then tapers into thinner, more responsive rails so it doesn't feel like a barge when you turn it.

Confident beginners who want something they won't outgrow in a season, and experienced surfers after a fun, forgiving mid-length for small days. It's the board that stays in the car all summer.

Sizing

• 7'0 — 21 3/4" x 3", 52L. Beginners to around 65kg.
• 7'6 — 22" x 3", 57L. Beginners to around 75kg.
• 8'0 — 22 1/4" x 3", 62L. Beginners to around 85kg.
